Stuff I Like: Italian Stone Coasters by Meadow Tea

Retro Type - Set of 4

This week, I had a genius plan of buying all of my holiday presents online...however, my idea backfired and I wound up spending more on myself than for others.  Oopsie....

During my Gift Hunt, one of the items that truly fell in love with this were these Italian Stone Coasters by Candace of Meadow Tea.  (I bought the retro typewriters!)  Here are more of my favorites...I think I may go ahead and buy some more - for others of course! yeah, that's it... for others...
Many Marvelous Moustaches

Celebrity of the Month: Kim Kardashian/IF: Vanity

With all the holiday card hoopla, I haven't really been able to participate in Illustration Friday as much as I have wanted but this week I was determine to draw something.  What's perfect about "Vanity" being the topic of the week is that it also falls in line with my Celebrity of the Month - Kim Kardashian!

Here I've depicted Kim crying to the paparazzi over her 72 day marriage....
In a previous illustration, I included her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe holding her dress while her mother squeels over another photo-op - they really didn't go but looking at their expressions make me laugh so I've included them below.  Hope you enjoy!

Stuff by Nicole: Wedding Edition

As mentioned before in previous posts, Joe and I tied the knot last Saturday.  It was so incredible and sadly it all blew by so fast.  I'm still in the midst of compiling all the pictures, assembling thank you cards and what nots.  So in the meantime, I wanted to share the invitations, favors and place cards that I created for the big day...

It's Turkey-Lurkey Time!

Yesterday, I had the show tune "Turkey-Lurkey Time" from Promises, Promises stuck on constant loop in my brain alllllll day.  Don't know why - I wanted to kill myself, but on the fourth loop, it became pretty catchy.  As a result, I created a Thanksgiving eCard courtesy of Pingg.  Technically, it's a Christmas song - but hey, Thanksgiving is practically the one-month kick off to Christmas, so I figured why not!

Stuff I Like: NY Coco MoCA

The day after our wedding, my boyfriend husband and I stopped by the Time Warner building for our traditional Sunday Macaron fix.  (SIDE BAR: In my opinion, The Bouchon Bakery has THE BEST macarons in all of Manhattan - they are big and affordable - oh, and GOOD!  Laduree, you can keep your over-priced, over-hyped macarons and 45 minute wait time - It's Bouchon that I will always love!)

Anyway, on the way to the Perfect Macaron, we stumbled upon the NY Coco MoCA exhibit (The New York Museum of Conan Art), a free art gallery featuring fan art dedicated to Conan O'Brien (and Andy Richter too!) It's in celebration of Conan's one week return to NYC.  The exhibit was really cool and the people running it were a blast!  AND they gave us free T-shirts on the way out - how awesome is that?!?

Here are some of my favorite "Arte des Cocos" below... (more after the jump!)
